Highway course

The route of the concessionary section of the A1 Motorway, starts south of Gdańsk and ends at Toruń. This 152-km stretch is the most northern section of the A1 Motorway (on Polish territory extends for 582 km), which runs from Toruń through Łódź, Częstochowa and Katowice down south to Gorzyczki where passes on the State border.

Autostrada A1, European Road E 75, is a part of the priority North-South Trans European corridor linking Scandinavia to the countries located by the Mediterranean Sea. The corridor stretching from the Baltic Sea across the Czech Republic and Slovakia to Austria will provide a modern transit route between Gdansk and Vienna.

The concessionary section of the A1 Motorway has been divided into to two phases.
The route of the Phase 1, approximately 90 km in length, starts in Rusocin near Pruszcz Gdański, south of Gdańsk and ends in Nowe Marzy newar Grudziądz. Between the two the motorway crosses two provinces: Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian. In the Pomeranian Voivodship (66 km) the route runs across the communes of Pruszcz Gdański, Trąbki Wielkie, Pszczółki, Tczew, Subkowy, Starogard Gdański, Pelplin, Morzeszczyn, Skórcz and Smętowo Graniczne. In the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodship (24 km) it crosses the communes of Nowe, Warlubie, Jeżewo and Dragacz.

The Phase 2 of the project, 62 kilometers in length, embarks a section of the motorway from Nowe Marzy to Czerniewice in Torun.
