The Traffic Hindrances in Warlubie are Nearing the End

The motorway traffic in the vicinity of the new Warlubie junction under construction was shifted to the eastern road yesterday.  In less than two weeks, i.e. on Thursday, 27 May, we are planning to remove the obstacles to the regular traffic and restore it in both directions.

The junction is growing by the minutes.  The binder course is already largely in place.  Erected too, is the lighting and the central reservation wire-rope barriers.  Now, lean concrete pouring is in progress to form the base for the concrete paving of the tolling station.  The slip roads are being connected to the main road on the western side of the motorway, and the outer fencing erected on the eastern side.  Meanwhile, the lighting is being put up along the slip roads.
Another active work front focuses on the voivodship road which crosses the A1.  Here, the road is being widened over the distance of about 150 metres where the slip roads will join the existing traffic route.  The sidewalk and road barrier relaying will follow suit.

The junction will be ready for acceptance and use this autumn, assures Mariusz Rodziewicz, Manager of the Warlubie Junction Team.
