Mr Piotr Całbecki, Marshal, was hosted at the General Meeting of the Alliance of the Pomeranian Communities in Favour of the A1 Construction, held in Lisewo yesterday (26 May).  During the Meeting GTC presented its report on the advancement of the construction works on the A1.

The local governments and the voivodship marshal were briefed on the current advancement of the works on the second section of the A1 Motorway.  Anna Tomczak, Technical Director, Gdańsk Transport Company, confirmed that about one third of all project jobs planned had been completed.  Much attention was devoted to the erection of the river bridges over the Vistula near Grudziądz and Toruń, and the issues connected with the operation of the first section of the A1, especially the putting up of additional acoustic screens.

The Marshal, Mr Całbecki, and the other participants in the meeting then paid a visit to the nearby bitumen mixing plant at the Lisewo junction and drove a short section of the technological road running along the construction site.
